Damien Hubert

Crisis Strategist

Damien Hubert is a French Bulgarian crisis strategist. Coming from Lille, France, he is yet to experience a MUN simulation. However, he is eager to contribute to the 2026 MEDMUN desk. Having gone on a few trips in the Middle East and North Africa, he is aware of the stakes of both regions, these journeys having sharpened his knowledge of the terrain which he hopes to put into practice during his studies at Menton. Now a first-year French track student at Sciences Po, he is ready to prove his savvy skills and composure while working under pressure for the Crisis Committee.

Abbas Nathani

Crisis Strategist

Abbas Nathani is a third-year student at the London School of Economics, studying BSc Economics and Economic History, and currently spending his exchange year at Sciences Po Paris, Campus of Menton, within the English track focusing on the Mediterranean and Middle East. Born and raised in the UK, Abbas has previously interned in investment banking and real estate, developing a strong interest in finance, economic development, and international affairs. This will be his first experience in a professional Model United Nations setting, where he will be part of the Crisis Committee staff. Abbas is particularly interested in the intersection of economic policy, diplomacy, and global security, and hopes to pursue a career combining these fields.

Antoine moubarak

Head of Outreach and Partnerships

Antoine first started MUNs as a high school delegate, where he quickly stood out and became the Head of Delegation for his school. His passion for diplomacy, debate, and intercultural exchange made his MUN experience both fun and formative. He took on a leadership role in MEDMUN as Head of the Arabic Committee, helping to foster engaging discussions and bridge cultural perspectives. This year, Antoine continues his MEDMUN journey as Head of Outreach and Partnerships, building connections and expanding MEDMUN’s international reach with enthusiasm and creativity.

Georges sabra

Crisis Strategist

Georges is a first-year student at sciences Po Paris, in the Menton campus. He is enrolled in the French program and is pursuing a multidisciplinary political sciences degree. Georges plans to take the politics and government major during his second year and in planning to do his third year in the U.S. He grew up in a little city called Carcassonne in the south of France. However, he speaks Arab and is really interested in the Middle East region due to his Syrian origin.  Georges does not have experience in MUN but hopes to become an ambassador in the future. This year, he will be part of the Crisis Committee where he is excited to make MedMUN as dynamic as possible!

Jouhaina el karroumi

Head of Arabic Committee

Jouhaina is a first-year student at the Sciences Po Paris, Campus de Menton. Hailing from Morocco, she thrives on cultural exchange and is fluent in four languages, which makes her especially adept at building bridges across diverse communities.

Her journey into the world of debate began with her active involvement in MUN events during high school, roles that shaped her love for diplomacy and international affairs.

This year, Jouhaina is proud to bring her unique background and enthusiasm to the organizational team of MEDMUN as the Head of the Arabic Committee. With a genuine passion for showcasing Moroccan heritage and international collaboration, she aims to create an inclusive and vibrant space where delegates can engage, debate and most importantly connect.

Ines Saidi

Co-Head of French Committees

Ines discovered Model United Nations in her first year of high school and immediately dove into it, without ever resurfacing. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a lasting passion for global affairs, dialogue, and collective problem-solving. Over the years, she has participated in several MUNs across Morocco, taking on roles as both delegate and chair, and even attended MEDMUN two years ago, an experience that deeply inspired her. In 2025, she served as the Conference Manager of MAMUN, one of Morocco’s largest MUNs, welcoming over 360 participants. This year, Ines returns to MEDMUN as Co-Head of the French Committees. She looks forward to contributing to the conference’s collaborative spirit and sharing the same enthusiasm that has driven her MUN journey from the very beginning.

Quentin Olivier-Gendzel

Head of Strategy

Quentin, as Head of Strategy for the Logistics Pole, is responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination and strategic planning behind the conference’s operational framework.

Open-minded and deeply committed to international collaboration, especially regarding human rights issues, he thrives in multicultural environments and values teamwork as a driver of meaningful impact. Having already gained experience in the humanitarian sector, he plans to pursue a career either as a project manager working directly on the ground, or in public affairs, where he can combine strategic thinking with concrete action.

Through his role at MEDMUN, he aims to strengthen his organizational and leadership skills while contributing to the success of one of Sciences Po Menton’s flagship events, fostering a needed international dialogue, solidarity, and effective respect of international law.

Marwa drissi

Co-Head of French Committee

Marwa is a French Moroccan first-year student at Sciences Po’s Menton campus. Her life in Ajaccio and Rabat, as well as her exchange semester in Istanbul, have shaped her passion for global issues. She first developed an interest in Morocco’s national policies and foreign affairs before broadening her perspective to international relations. As a physics enthusiast, she is particularly interested in nuclear and energy-related issues, where geopolitics and science intersect. Fluent in four languages, Marwa values the importance of cross-cultural understanding and global dialogue. MUNs have been a key part of her high school journey. After taking part in several conferences in Morocco and Istanbul, and through simulation after simulation, Marwa went from being the shyest delegate to becoming the President of her high school’s MUN 2025 conference. This year, she is honored to serve as Co-Head of French Committees alongside Inès. She looks forward to meeting all the future chairs and delegates and to contributing to a stimulating and engaging MUN experience!

Martin monev

Head of International Press

Coming from the crossroads country of Bulgaria, particularly the southeastern town of Yambol, Martin developed an early interest in history and international affairs. After relocating to the capital, Sofia, to study at the National Classical Lyceum, he discovered a passion for combining historical insight with political and social analysis, reading in the original languages the thinkers who first explored the principles of a just society. He gained experience in Model United Nations through his participation in his high school’s MUN Association and helped organize a conference at Sofia University.

His interest in quality journalism was deepened through his involvement with the media project EU Made Simple, and he is now a Sciences Po student, serving as Head of the International Press Forum for MEDMUN 2026. Passionate about investigative journalism and the role of social media in shaping public understanding, Martin aims to connect academic insights with contemporary real-world issues.

Iraklis Giorgallis

Crisis Strategist

Iraklis Giorgallis is a 1st year student at Sciences Po Paris, at the Menton Campus, enrolled in the English track program and pursuing a degree in Political Science and International Relations. Iraklis' interest in this particular field stems from his own country, the Republic of Cyprus, and its delicate interconnection to the world of politics, especially within the scope of the Mediterranean. The existing political polarization within the island over the past 5 decades, consists of the main driving factor regarding Iraklis' passion and sensitivity for this and all such related topics. He was born and raised in Nicosia, and whilst participating in his high school's own MUN simulations, this is his first experience within a professional MUN setting, where he will be part of the Crisis Committee Staff. Iraklis aims to build a career in diplomacy, particularly orientated towards Cyprus and the country's own foreign affairs, as well as the MENA region in its entirety.

Jasmine David-Roberts

Crisis Strategist

Jasmine Davison-Roberts is a second-year political humanities major at Sciences Po Paris — Campus de Menton. She is pursuing a dual degree with Columbia University in New York City. Jasmine joined MEDMUN in 2024 as a Crisis Strategist, and is now a Head of an English Crisis Committee. Born in Canada and raised in Hong Kong, Jasmine enjoys engaging with international issues, as well as studying regional histories and their impacts on our current modernity.

Jasmine is excited to elevate the crisis experience this year alongside a great crisis group. She aims to promote the cultural richness of the Mediterranean region through engaging discussions, lively debates, and crazy crisis updates

Barnabé le cam

Crisis Strategist

Barnabé Le Cam is a first-year student at Sciences Po Paris, Campus of Menton, enrolled in the French track. Born and raised in Bretagne in France, he is passionate about international cooperation and aspires to build a career in sports diplomacy where the values of dialogue, respect, and unity meet the global stage.

For over ten years, Barnabé has been dedicated to athletics, a discipline that has shaped his identity and vision of the world. Through sport, he has learned the values of perseverance, discipline and solidarity. More than just physical effort, he sees sport as a universal language and a powerful social and diplomatic tool capable of bringing people together beyond borders, beliefs, and backgrounds.

As a crisis strategist at MEDMUN, Barnabé hopes to contribute building a space where every voice is heard, where ambition meets collaboration and where members feel part of something greater just as athletes do within a team or on the field.

Syrine Benouna

Head of French Court 

Syrine is a second-year student at Sciences Po Paris majoring in Politics and Government on the Menton Campus. Born and raised in Morocco, she has been involved in Model United Nations for over seven years, having started at the age of twelve. She participated in numerous national and international conferences, including in Geneva, The Hague, and MEDMUN in 2023. Before joining Sciences Po, she served as Secretary-General of OSUIMUN, her national MUN conference. Last year, she took on the role of Chair of the UN Security Council at MEDMUN, and she is now thrilled to serve as the Head of French Court for this edition.

Passionate about diplomacy and global governance, Syrine is particularly interested in global health diplomacy, public health, and the implications of AI and emerging technologies for international security. Deeply connected to the Mediterranean and Arab worlds, she is driven by the desire to foster dialogue and cooperation across the region through inclusive and forward-looking diplomacy.

For her, MUNs have always been spaces of dialogue, exchange, and meeting people, so she is so excited to be on the MEDMUN team and to meet you!

Sara Hajjar

Head of Conseil Municipal

Sara is a Franco-Moroccan student born in Toulon, a background that has fueled her passion for the political, social, and economic dynamics of the Mediterranean and the Arab world. Her Moroccan heritage has enriched her interpersonal relationships and helped her develop the open-mindedness that drives her commitment to international relations.

She is currently in her second year at Sciences Po Paris, on the Menton campus, where she specializes in Politics and Government. She also serves as Head of the Marseille Youth Council. Marseille has been part of her region since birth, and she is excited to contribute to the creation of this committee, a project that is particularly close to her heart.

Last year, Ninon participated in her first Model United Nations (MUN), an experience that confirmed her passion for international relations. Today, she is determined to promote Mediterranean excellence from Marseille to Meknès, and to help build a space where young people from around the world can exchange ideas, debate, and build bridges between their cultures.

Outside of her studies and associative work, she is passionate about dance — a form of expression that deeply resonates with her. She also enjoys Mediterranean culture in all its forms — literature, music, photography, and sports — as she believes culture is essential to understanding and connecting societies.

As Head of Conseil Municipal, Ninon is excited to make MEDMUN 2026 a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.

Simay Ö

Co-Head of English Committee

Simay is a first-year student from Turkey who intends to major in politics and government at Sciences Po Paris, Campus de Menton.  Growing up in Istanbul where many cultures and ideas intersect, she became interested in intercultural dialogue with the aim of advancing human rights early on. This diverse background continues to inspire her wish to foster productive debates on global issues and encourage young people to find inclusive approaches. Her almost seven years of dedication to the MUN community, having served as a delegate, chair, and Secretary-General has helped her refine this perspective. She now hopes to apply the knowledge she has gained through her diplomatic and organizational experiences as the Co-Head of English Committees at the 14th Annual Edition of Mediterranean Model United Nations (MEDMUN).

With each new experience, Simay aspires to grow as a person and gain unique insights into the world. Likewise, she seeks to encourage lively and diplomatic discussions that will lead to effective solutions and share her passions through her work at MEDMUN 2026.

Head of Crisis Committee

Rim Mir is a first-year student at Sciences Po Paris, Campus de Menton, where she studies Politics, International Relations, and Law. Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Rim approaches her work with curiosity, clarity, ambition and sometimes a bit of audacity. To her, Crisis is the most thrilling and intellectually demanding part of MEDMUN, a space where strategy meets creativity, and diplomacy is tested under pressure. Having participated in several MUN conferences, she thrives on the adrenaline of fast-paced decision-making and the challenge of turning uncertainty into opportunity.

As one of the Heads of Crisis for MEDMUN 2026, Rim is dedicated to making the Crisis pole the perfect balance between the academic depth and rigor of other committees and the dynamic, immersive energy that defines crisis. She aims to craft innovative, thought-provoking simulations that push delegates to think critically, react, and engage meaningfully with global issues. Passionate about law and justice, Rim hopes to build a career at the intersection of law, advocacy, and international legal practice.

Crisis Strategist

Viktor Zlatev is a first-year student at Sciences Po Paris, Menton campus, pursuing a degree in Political Science and International Relations. Originally from Sofia, Bulgaria, he has great experience with youth non-governmental organizations and has participated in several high school Model UNs. This, however, is his first time in a professional MUN atmosphere, where he will be a strategist in the Crisis team. Looking ahead, Viktor plans to pursue a career in diplomacy or public affairs, with a specific focus on international security.

Ninon berti

Head of Educational Outreach

Ninon Berti was born and raised in Nice, she is a native French speaker with Italian roots on her mother’s side. She also speaks English fluently, a language she has embraced through travel, literature, and cinema. She is pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Sciences Po Paris on the Menton campus.

As Head of Educational Outreach within the MEDMUN Project Pole, Ninon sees her role as a bridge connecting young minds to the world of diplomacy and dialogue. She strives to open MEDMUN’s doors to those who have never imagined themselves part of such conversations, especially across the French Riviera where she grew up.

Deeply passionate about culture, particularly cinema, Ninon aspires to pursue a career in cultural diplomacy. She aims to strengthen cultural ties between France and the MENA region, convinced that soft power remains one of the most human forms of international influence.

Mayssa is a Tunisian student going to Columbia, New York in two years. On her stop here, at the very special Menton Campus of Sciences Po, she’s navigating her aspirations to become a strategic counselor. Immersed in MENA culture, her Tunisian, French, and American influences always push her to see the world through multiple lenses. She’s honed this perspective through years of experience in the diplomatic sphere–having been a delegate, journalist, chair, and even organizer–and she was even named Best Delegate of her crisis committee at last year’s MEDMUN!

This year, as the new co-head of English committees, Mayssa’s been working on crafting thought-provoking, innovative, and challenging topics for you to shine and excel in your turn. Volcie Mouillac

Head of Podcast

Volcie is a first year student at the Menton campus. She very obviously picked the notorious Lemon City for the sea views she feels blessed to get amid the chaos of math classes, but she most importantly picked Menton to immerse herself in MENA culture which she hopes to, when she becomes a journalist-reporter, capture through her camera and write about on her notebook. She’s honored and excited to start her broadcast experience, here at MED MUN, as our newest co-head of mentonnese podcast. Passionate about Middle-Eastern geopolitics and fascinated by diplomatic relations, Volcie’s mind is filled with innovative, fun–and educational of course–podcast ideas. This 14th edition of MED MUN might be Volcie’s first experience within the diplomatic world, but her curiosity for the world motivates her to delve into the unknown. Grab your headphones and be ready to take notes, because Volcie is more than eager to meet all of you and to deliver some thought-provoking content!
