Martin monev
Head of International Press
Coming from the crossroads country of Bulgaria, particularly the southeastern town of Yambol, Martin developed an early interest in history and international affairs. After relocating to the capital, Sofia, to study at the National Classical Lyceum, he discovered a passion for combining historical insight with political and social analysis, reading in the original languages the thinkers who first explored the principles of a just society. He gained experience in Model United Nations through his participation in his high school’s MUN Association and helped organize a conference at Sofia University.
His interest in quality journalism was deepened through his involvement with the media project EU Made Simple, and he is now a Sciences Po student, serving as Head of the International Press Forum for MEDMUN 2026. Passionate about investigative journalism and the role of social media in shaping public understanding, Martin aims to connect academic insights with contemporary real-world issues.
