Syrine Benouna
Head of French Court
Syrine is a second-year student at Sciences Po Paris majoring in Politics and Government on the Menton Campus. Born and raised in Morocco, she has been involved in Model United Nations for over seven years, having started at the age of twelve. She participated in numerous national and international conferences, including in Geneva, The Hague, and MEDMUN in 2023. Before joining Sciences Po, she served as Secretary-General of OSUIMUN, her national MUN conference. Last year, she took on the role of Chair of the UN Security Council at MEDMUN, and she is now thrilled to serve as the Head of French Court for this edition.
Passionate about diplomacy and global governance, Syrine is particularly interested in global health diplomacy, public health, and the implications of AI and emerging technologies for international security. Deeply connected to the Mediterranean and Arab worlds, she is driven by the desire to foster dialogue and cooperation across the region through inclusive and forward-looking diplomacy.
For her, MUNs have always been spaces of dialogue, exchange, and meeting people, so she is so excited to be on the MEDMUN team and to meet you!
