Noémie pound

Crisis Co-Director

Noémie Pound, a second-year student in the Sciences Po – UC Berkeley dual degree program, currently majoring in Politics and Government at the Menton Campus, is delighted to work as Director of Crisis for MEDMUN alongside Theo.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada’s capital, she has had the opportunity to witness international diplomatic action firsthand. With experience in MUN simulations and crisis committees since high school, as well as participation in debating competitions and a strong background in handling emergency and high-stress situations, Noémie is excited to bring her energy and passion to the organization and beyond.

Having progressed from Crisis Staffer last year to Director this year, she hopes to expand both awareness and engagement with Crisis committees, bodies that mirror how policy responds to real-world emergencies. She aspires to continue this work beyond MEDMUN, with a long-term goal of contributing to environmental and human rights law and policy.
