Émilie Pezet
Journalist
Emilie Pezet is a second-year student at Sciences Po Paris on the Menton campus, where she explores political humanities across the Mediterranean and the wider MENA region. A longtime news nerd, she’s watched thousands of documentaries and devoured newspapers, which sparked a deep interest in how stories shape politics around the Mediterranean and beyond.
After serving as Head of the French Court at MEDMUN 2025, Emilie is supporting the conference in a new way this year: as a journalist. Her work focuses on clear, accessible writing: news recaps that track developments across the MENA region, crisp articles covering MEDMUN events, and explainers that bring general knowledge on the MENA region to a wider audience. She aims to connect what happens in debate rooms with what matters outside them.
Within MEDMUN, Emilie wants her pieces to live where people actually read: the website, social channels, and any print the team puts out. Her goals are simple: help delegates follow the action and make the richness of Mediterranean perspectives easy to grasp for first timers and seasoned MUNers alike.
