Juan Fernando Iasio
Head of Local and Italian Partnerships
Juan Fernando Iasio is a second-year student at Sciences Po Paris, Menton Campus, majoring in Politics and Government. Being Italo-Ecuadorian and having lived twelve years in Italy before arriving in France, his profile fits naturally with the MEDMUN project through his multicultural background and close ties to the Mediterranean.
Interested in social sciences from a young age, thanks to the daily newspapers his grandfather bought, he decided to focus his studies on migration issues, one of the most important political challenges nowadays, whether locally, around the Mediterranean, or internationally. After participating in MEDMUN last year as a delegate in the Italian UNODC committee, he was inspired by the project and is now honored to have joined the logistics team as Head of Local and Italian Partnerships. Together with the entire MEDMUN team, he hopes to organize an unforgettable event for all future participants.
