Termeh erami

Deputy Secretary General

Termeh Erami is a second-year student majoring in Politics and Governments. Born and raised in Tehran, the vibrant heart of Iran, she grew up in an environment where political life is woven into daily reality. From an early age, she developed a strong interest in diplomacy and global affairs, a passion she continues to pursue with determination.

Despite the limitations of the context she grew up in, Termeh consistently sought broader perspectives. She spent the final two years of high school at an American school in Paris, where she served as the Secretary-General of NDOMUN. She led the first-ever edition of the conference, bringing together multiple schools and launching a tradition that continues today. Since then, Model United Nations has become a defining part of her academic and personal journey. What drives her most is the opportunity to give students, especially those from underrepresented or underserved communities, a space to engage with urgent global issues and to feel empowered within the political sphere.

This year, she is honoured to serve as the Deputy Secretary-General of MEDMUN. Termeh hopes to help deliver a conference that is not only rigorous and high-quality, but also welcoming and memorable for everyone involved, from delegates to team members. For her, MEDMUN is more than a conference; it is a bridge that connects different worlds, perspectives and experiences. Together alongside Nour, she is committed to making this edition truly special that stands out and stays with you long after it’s over.
