Eleni Dimitropoulou

Eleni Dimitropoulou, an 19-year-old political science student from Greece, studies at Sciences Po Menton and has spent six years actively participating in Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. Having attended 28 MUNs and last year serving as the Co- Head of English Committees along with Ondine ,she has developed strong diplomatic skills and a deep understanding of global governance.

Fluent in five languages, Eleni is particularly passionate about human rights, with a focus on how political decisions impact vulnerable populations. Her political awareness was shaped by Greece’s involvement in major geopolitical events in the Mediterranean and the Middle East, especially the Syrian Civil War and the resulting refugee crisis. Seeing firsthand the mass influx of refugees and the strain it placed on her country inspired her commitment to understanding international migration. Additionally, Greece’s financial crisis heightened her interest in the intersection of economics and human rights.

As Co-Director of Content at MEDMUN, she looks forward to welcoming delegates and chairs with interesting - thought provoking topics , excellent academics and with more than enough preparation material.
